Family fun weekend for children under the care of GOSH Written by Mary Ferguson on Monday the 4th of December 2017. We’ve teamed up with Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital (GOSH) to host a special fun weekend in Oxfordshire – and we’d love you to join us. To be eligible to attend this event your child must be currently under the care of the pulmonary hypertension team at Great Ormond Street Hospital or one of their national clinics. Taking place at the beautiful Heythrop Park Hotel in Enstone on bank holiday weekend 5th – 7th May 2018, the focus will be on fun and friendship, with plenty of activities on offer. There will also be learning opportunities for adults, and the chance to meet other families and the Great Ormond Street staff, outside of the hospital setting. Travel down at your leisure on the Saturday, enjoy an action-packed day on Sunday, and return home on Monday – making the most of the long bank holiday weekend. This collaborative event is exclusive to children and their families under the care of Great Ormond Street or one of their national clinics. The event will cost just £15 per adult, with children under the age of 16 free of charge. The rest of the cost of hosting the event is being exclusively and generously covered by the PHA UK, which includes two nights’ accommodation and all meals. This charge is to help cover costs, but if you would like to discuss payment, please do let us know. To register your interest in the event (there is no commitment to attend at this stage) please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01709 761450.
