Contact your local media
One of the best ways to raise awareness of pulmonary hypertension is to share your story with your local media. And over the last few years, lots of you have appeared in newspapers, magazines, on websites and even on radio and TV – helping to tell the world about PH.
We’ve put together a template letter / email you can use to contact your local newspaper or radio station. Their contact details can usually be found online.
Don’t forget to contact your local media as early as possible! This will allow journalists to plan ahead and will give the best chance of coverage.
If you’re not sure who to send your email or letter to, you will be able to find out by calling the main switchboard number. A journalist may want to talk to you to find out more, so don’t forget to include your phone number and / or email address when you contact them.
