Express yourself

The theme of this year’s awareness week is ‘Hear Our Voices’ – and we can use our voices in more ways than one. Express yourself through written words, art, film, music, dance, photography – or anything creative that means something to you – and we will share your submissions online throughout the week.

Everything you create will enjoy a permanent home at, so others can take comfort or draw inspiration for years to come.

You could:

  • Write a poem or blog about any aspect of life with PH
  • Draw or paint something or someone you love (great for kids!)
  • Take a photograph of a special place or person
  • Write an open letter to someone – yourself, someone you miss or love, the NHS, or anyone of your choosing
  • Make a short film on your phone
  • Record yourself singing a song, playing an instrument, or completing a dance routine (great for kids!)

… or anything else that moves or inspires you!

Your expression doesn’t have to directly relate to PH. We are more than our health conditions, and this is about expressing who YOU are. Express Yourself is not just for those with PH either; we’d love to see expressions from relatives, friends, loved ones and healthcare professionals too.

Your contact details will only be used if we need to contact you about your submission. They will not be used for marketing purposes, or shared with any third parties. That’s a promise!
