What if I choose not to notify the DVLA of my PH diagnosis?

Here at the PHA UK we strongly advise that you inform the DVLA as soon as you have your diagnosis of PH and are under the care of one of the designated specialist centres. Failure to do so is a criminal offence and is punishable by a fine of up to £1,000.

Please remember that the majority of people with PH will still be allowed to drive, and in the rare case of a licence being revoked, this will be for the safety of both the driver and other road users.
