Your words

Share your words of hope, support, poetry or prayer for those affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Let's come together as a PH community to stand with our fellow humans going through such suffering.

Jo

I know many Ukrainians feel alone and abandoned, but know that there are millions of us horrified at what is happening, standing with you by petitioning leaders, raising funds, praying, and holding out in hope with you for this war to end.

Praying for your protection.
For resources to reach you.
For your spirits, minds and bodies to stay strong.
For provision of everything you need.
For safe travel for those who leave.
For wisdom for the leaders of your government and military.
And most of all for peace.

Joyce

Our prayers are with the whole of the Ukraine. Your leadership is strong. Again we pray this will end very soon.

Shaun

I cannot comprehend what is happening to a country so similar to our own. My thoughts are with the children who are having to live through this, not understanding why such evil has befallen them. Stay strong little ones, keep smiling as much as you can!

Mark

Loving God,
We pray for the people of Ukraine,
for all those suffering or afraid,
that you will be close to them and protect them.

We pray for world leaders,
for compassion, strength and wisdom to guide their choices.

We pray for the world
that in this moment of crisis,
we may reach out in solidarity
to our brothers and sisters in need.

May we walk in your ways
so that peace and justice
become a reality for the people of Ukraine
and for all the world.

Amen.

Jo

It’s hard to understand what so many people are going through, not so many miles away. Let’s be grateful for our freedoms, our safety, and those we love. Thinking of everyone affected by this awful conflict 💜

That perches in the soul –
And sings the tune without the words –
And never stops – at all”
