Date: 8th May 2022 (the same week as World PH Day)
Location: Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, B13 8RD
At the age of just 20, Sabbah became one of the founding Trustees of Sähëlï Hub and she dedicated 21 years to her role as Treasurer.
“Sabbah was the most committed and supportive Trustee, a cheerleader for Sähëlï Hub. She joined as a girl and blossomed into an amazing woman. She was fiercely loyal, totally independent, hardworking, and generous with her time and commitment to us, her family and friends.
“Sabbah will remain in our hearts and our minds as we will miss her presence at all our activities and events in the future. Loved, blessed by her presence, missed but never forgotten.”Naseem Akhtar, CEO of Saheli Hub
Sabbah’s life was tragically cut short by the rare disease pulmonary hypertension (PH) and this family-friendly event will raise money for the Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK so they can support others affected by this devastating disease.
Sabbah touched the lives of everyone she met and was smiling right to the end. Let’s get together to celebrate her spirit and do something amazing in her memory ❤
Entries cost £10 for people aged 16 or over, or £5 for those aged 5-15 years. Children aged 4 or under can join in for free 🙂
Every penny from your entry fee will go directly to the PHA UK and you can also collect sponsorship if you wish, by asking people to donate via this online fundraising page. If you’d prefer to set up your own page for sponsorship, there’s a guide to getting started here.
Please sign up by Wednesday 4th May.
This event is being organised by Sähëlï Hub and they have asked us at the PHA UK to collect entries so that all entry fees go directly to our charity. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Naseem Akhtar at Sähëlï Hub on email@example.com or 0121 440 1007.
