Losing someone to pulmonary hypertension is hard, and for many families raising money in their memory becomes a way of marking a life and of helping others living with the condition. If that is something you are considering, we would be glad to help — at whatever pace feels right.
You can create a page in your loved one’s name and share it with family and friends, so that anyone who would like to give in their memory can do so in one place — and you can see what has been raised.
To set one up, sign in to myPHA, our personal portal, and create your In memory of page. If you do not have an account yet, you can create one on the same page. Once it is set up, you will have a link you can share however you like — by email, in a message, or alongside funeral or celebration-of-life details.
Many families ask for donations in lieu of flowers, or include the PHA UK in a funeral or celebration-of-life collection. Friends and family can also make a donation at any time.
Some families organise something in the months or years that follow — a sponsored walk, a tea party, a coffee morning, an annual event on a date that matters to them. It does not need to be large or strenuous to make a difference, and we can send you a free fundraising kit to help.

A gift in your will is another way of supporting people with PH long into the future. There is no minimum, and we have suggested wording you can pass to your solicitor.
You do not have to arrange anything alone, and there is no obligation to decide anything quickly. If you would like to talk it through, or you would rather we helped with something, please get in touch.
