NEWS: Survey seeks patient opinions on clinical trials

Posted on March 14th 2022

A new survey is aiming to discover what matters most to patients when it comes to taking part in clinical trials.

Important research into new treatments for pulmonary hypertension is happening all the time, and people living with the condition play a vital role in these studies.

The PHA UK has teamed up with researchers from the University of Cambridge and Royal Papworth Hospital to ensure clinical trials are shaped around the needs of patients and their loved ones.

By sharing their thoughts in this collaborative survey, patients will help to shape the design of a promising new trial known as ‘StratosPHere’.

This trial will investigate whether two specific drugs are beneficial to patients with pulmonary hypertension, and there are lots of new and exciting ways the team hope to carry out this research. They are keen to hear the opinions of the PH community to understand what is important to them.

If you have pulmonary hypertension, please complete this survey before 1st April 2022.
