By Sally Cooper, who knows someone with PH
Twenty years ago, I made a promise,
with a heart so full of love,
to stand beside you through the years,
through every storm and every sun above.
I promised in sickness and in health,
and I meant every word I said.
Not only through the easy days,
but when the road ahead was filled with dread.
There have been moments we never planned,
days that tested what we knew,
but through every fear, every tear, every change,
I have never stopped choosing you.
Twenty years have come and gone,
and if I could turn back time,
I wouldn’t change a single chapter,
because your hand belongs in mine.
No regrets for the road we’ve travelled
Through laughter and through heartache,
through weakness and through strength,
through all the little moments
and every difficult days of any length.
And if we have another twenty years
whatever life may bring us, laughter tears , hope and joy
I’ll stand beside you, because I’m your girl and you’re my boy.
