Movement

By Pamela Ellis's sister-in-law, who knows someone with PH

Oh, to walk ten miles and picnic by a brook.
Or wonder round the shops, meandering just to look.
On holiday abroad, to wander foreign streets,
Without aching muscles and pain from bones that creek,
Or, to dance the night away, or ascend the stair
Oh, to be youthful free from aches and pains,
To dream of running free, no mobility aids or canes
Oh, how we take for granted when young, fit and carefree,
The power of movement and our mobility.
