National Cohort Study of Idiopathic and Heritable Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

This study aims to investigate the genetic causes of PAH, and how genetic variation affects outcome and response to treatment.

Researchers are keen to recruit both patients and first degree relatives of patients who have idiopathic or heritable pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

In the below video, Professor Nick Morrell of the University of Cambridge, and study manager Carmen Treacy, talk to PHA UK Iain Armstrong about current research into links between genetics and PAH, and how people can get involved in the study.
