A collection of poems written by our PH community
Welcome to our very special online poetry anthology.
When we launched our 2026 poetry competition, inviting our PH community to share their work, we weren’t sure what to expect. We were blown away. More than 40 poems arrived, all of an excellent standard, and although we could only choose four prize-winners, every single entry deserves to be published and enjoyed here.
Some of the poems are about PH, some are about love, and some remember those we have lost. Some are sad, some are funny, and some have nothing to do with health at all, but every one was written from the heart.
The entries were judges by author Michelle Rawlins, PHA UK Chair Dr Iain Armstrong, and emPHAsis editor Mary Ferguson.
Thank you to everyone who took part. Your words matter, and it is our privilege to share them.
